best time to visit Uganda

Gorilla trekking is an all year-round activity however understanding when the best time for trekking is also important. It is equally important to know that this region is always raining, but there are other periods when the amount of the rainfall is lower than the other hence high and low season. The best time for Gorilla Trekking is during the drier season (high season) over the months of January, February, June – September and December as this period has less rainfall. During the other period (low Season) it is the best time for trekking for budget trekkers however the rains for these months is discouraging. Trekking in the high season is expensive compared to low season. The rain falls throughout the year, the sun will still shine.
