Itinerary
Spend a full day tracking Africa’s iconic Big 5 within the 2nd oldest proclaimed reserve on Planet Earth: The Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve.
Wherever you are in the Zulu Kingdom you are no more than 3 hours from the Big 5. Let’s get you to be a whole lot closer. Very early departures (05h00). As you know wildlife, especially predators, are most active around dawn and dusk. Hluhluwe-Imfolozi is renowned for White Rhino — after all it did save the Southern White Rhino from extinction. Enter the reserve via Memorial Gate and explore the northern sector on a morning game drive within our Hyundai H1 vehicle.
Time for a spot of lunch at Hilltop Restaurant. After lunch we will explore the southern sector of the reserve while keeping our eyes peeled for the highly endangered African Wild Dogs and Big Cats. At approximately 16h00 we will start to make our way back to Durban.

Important Information
What to Wear: Sunscreen, always bring warm clothing as it is cooler at sea than on land. Comfortable closed shoes are advised.
Things to Bring: Binoculars, camera, warm clothing.
Hyundai H1 Vehicle — This is not an open safari vehicle. It is a luxury air-conditioned vehicle with large windows and high clearance resulting in a comfortable safari experience.
Pick up will be at your accommodation at 05h00.
Drop off will be at your accommodation at 19h00.
