Day 1-3: Welcome to Cape Town
Meet and Greet at Cape Town International airport, transfer to the More Quarters hotel and spend the day at leisure.Cape Town, home to the majestic Table Mountain. With a variety of activities on offer, Cape Town is home to the finest wines, and African Cuisine. Spend an afternoon learning how to make an African Dish with African cuisine specialist and enjoy your meal afterwards.
It is the perfect base from which to explore Cape Town. Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront and a host of great restaurants, bars and nightclubs are just minutes away. Venture out of the city centre to visit the popular city beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton or enjoy a day out in the ever-scenic Cape Winelands.
Day 3-5: A magical Rovos Rail journey
The finest way to see the beautiful country of South Africa and its scenery on this 49-hour journey between Cape Town and Pretoria, on board the luxurious Rovos Rail Pride of Africa is surely many travelers’ idea of a trip of a lifetime. Pass through the wine lands of the Cape and spectacular mountain ranges, historical and perfectly preserved Victorian town of Matjiesfontein, the open barrenness of the Great Karoo. Stop in Kimberly to explore the mining town and visit one of the largest man-made excavations in the world, all in the search for diamonds. Travel through the grassland of the highveld and gold fields of Witwatersrand before reaching your final stop at the rail station in Pretoria where you will be met by your driver to your next adventure.
Day 5-6 : The Houghton Hotel
Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport meet with your driver and transfer to The Houghton Hotel for over night stay. Spend the evening at leisure
Day 6 – 8: Singita Boulders
After breakfast leave for the airport for check in 09.30am, you’ll be met and transferred to the Federal Air charter lounge for your charter flight to Kruger. When you check-in at the lounge, you’ll have the opportunity to repack and store excess baggage if necessary, before boarding the aircraft.
After a short flight to Sabi Sand, your ranger will welcome you at Singita’s airstrip and escort you to your lodge for check in and some welcome refreshments. Singita Boulders Lodge is a luxury safari lodge built within the rocky geometry of the Singita Private Game Reserve in Sabi Sand. This family-friendly lodge offers a mini ranger’s program to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy nighttime game drives and guided walking safaris. Game viewing in Sabi is unrivalled anywhere else in Kruger with the Big 5 virtually guaranteed, as this is the best reserve to spot the shy and elusive leopard.
Day 8-10 Singita Lebombo
After breakfast you will be transferred to you next stop at Singita Lebombo where you will spend the next 3 nights enjoying game drives and the big 5.
Day 11 Say Goodbye!!
After a final game drive and bush breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Johannesburg where your tour will end upon arrival.
