CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Chobe National Park is well known for being one of the best wildlife destinations in the world and first national park, and also the most biologically diverse. Visit Botswana and plan your wildlife adventure in Chobe.
Chobe National Park is known for the huge herds of elephants and rich birdlife and other game, a vast, eco-diverse park along the Chobe River.
When to visit
The weather is hot most of the year, particularly Oct–Dec. The dry season (May–Oct) is a popular time to visit, when wildlife-viewing reaches its peak and large numbers of elephants gather along the Chobe Riverfront. Roads may become impassable during the rainy months (Nov–Apr), though this is also prime birdwatching time.
