On arrival at Victoria Falls Int Airport your guide and transfer await to take you to the lodge. Check in and freshen up. Depending on your arrival time a light meal will be served. Spend the next few days exploring the Zambezi National Park and enjoy a variety of activities from Fishing (catch and release) Bush and nature walks, game drives or spend some time at the wellness centre at the Spa relaxing.

Today your driver/ guide drives you to your next destination, Chundu Island. Chundu Island is a private island in the middle of the upper Zambezi River in the Zambezi National Park, 21km upstream from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Either road (4×4 required) with a 5-minute pontoon boat hop, or a Zimbabwean Jet Boat transfer to the Island.
While at the Island relax in the evening with a sundowner and watch the games of elephants and hippos on the opposite bank, while spectacular sunsets with the haunting cries of the African Fish Eagle awaken their souls and senses. Stories exchanged with other guests follow under a clear starry sky. Just 21 km from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Chundu offers access to Zambesi National Park, 4×4 safari, hiking trails, river cruises and fishing. Chundu Island has it all.

2 nights Masuwe Lodge: Accommodation; return Victoria Falls Airport to Masuwe transfers; return Masuwe to Victoria Falls town transfers; all meals; all local brand, beverages; Wi-Fi (in reception areas); an informal tour of the town; a guided tour of Victoria Falls; one daily wildlife activity which may include a guided walk on the Masuwe Sanctuary (no children under 12 years), a game drive at Chamabonda Vlei (Zambezi National Park – ZNP) or on the Masuwe Sanctuary. 3 nights Chundu Island: Accommodation; meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner); teas & coffees; local brand drinks (soft drinks, house wines, local beers & spirits); 2 activities per day; basic laundry (hand wash, dry & fold). Return transfers between Zambezi National Park Gate and Chundu Island (road/game drive + 5-minute pontoon hop). Return road and pontoon transfers to visit Victoria Falls Rainforest (unguided).
