Itinerary
Day 1- Victoria Falls
Depart from Victoria Falls Station, Zimbabwe. Dinner is served in the dinning cars en route to Kennedy Siding
Day 2 – Hwange National Park
Continental breakfast is served in the dining cars. Disembark at Kennedy Siding, enjoy a game drive at the Hide in Hwange national park. The train travels between Gwaai and Dete along one of the world’s longest stretches of straight railway line- 114kns –and passes Bulawayo, capital of Matebeleland and industrial city of Zimbabwe. Please ensure train manager / gift shop hostess is in possession of your passport.
Day 3 – At Leisure
Breakfast is served and train leaves baobab country and travels south. Travel through Warmbaths (so named for its mineral waters) and Nylstroom, christened by the Vootrekkers as the source of the Nile River. The train passes the edge of the escarpment where the Highveld drops precipitously.
Day 4 – Pretoria
Breakfast is served until 09.00. Arrive at journey’s end at Rovos rail Station in Pretoria
